Cliff's Water for WildlifeProjects - 2009
03-2009 One Of The BEST YET !!!!!

What a project, we finished five guzzlers with
tortoise ramps and two springs.  There was a
total of 63 volunteers at this project, most
ever.  Approximately 20,000 total miles were
traveled by volunteers, along with over 500
hours of labor.

Each person did what had to be done to make
this one of the best and productive projects so
far.  To me it looked like everyone had a good
time.  Plenty of good food and lots of work.

Thanks to Dennis Casebier for our great
camping area, California Deer Association for
the cash to buy the Merlex and grinders, Quail
Unlimited, chapter #759 for paying for the food
along with several bags of concrete and
mortar.  Thanks to our cooks, Kippy, Judy and
Jenette, Deb and Marie for taking care of the
tickets, Nick for the goodies and all you hard
working volunteers, plus any others I know I
forgot to mention.
